Scope of the Seminar
The national seminar will provide an opportunity to review and update recent developments in the frontier of nano-biotechnology, as the experts would be deliberating on the heme. It would enable the delegates including young teachers, research scholars, post-graduate students to interact with the experts/resource persons to enrich their knowledge. The participant can also exchange view on concepts and potential applications of nano-carriers for drug targeting.
Call for Abstracts
Participants are cordially invited for presentation in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology and Nonotechnology. The abstracts must be received by 30th March 2011 which will be subsequently reviewed by panel of experts by the scientific committee. Notification of acceptance of presentation (Oral or Poster) will be mailed to the author. Number of oral & poster presentations is limited to maintain the quality.
Abstracts must be written in English not exceeding 300 words. The abstract should include title (14 pt, Bold, Upper case, Time New Roman), Author(s) & affiliations (12 pt, Sentence case, Arial), Materials and methods, results and conclusions (12 pt, Sentence case, Arial all through). Name of the presenting author should be underlined. The text should be single spaced 11 pt Arial font. Abstracts should be submitted via e-mail to dbtseminar@rips.ac.in. Hard copies of the same along with the registration form and the fess should be submitted with in the stipulated time. The registration of the student participants must be forwarded by Head of the institution/ department. Abstract submitted without registration documents and the registration fess will not be entertained.
Poster presentation:
The size of the poster should not exceed 120 cm (height) and 90 cm (width). The posters must be prepared in English. Content of the poster should be readable from 1.5 meters.
Oral presentation:
We encourage oral presentation by the young researchers, young faculty members, PhD scholars. Maximum time for the oral presentation is 10 min.
Computers and projector will be provided by the organizers. Presenters are requested to submit their presentation during the conference. The presentation should be in MS Power Point 2003 Format. Best oral and poster presentations will be awarded.
